MMFF 2016 Winners

The long wait is over for this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival as the list of winners were announced during the MMFF 2016 Gabi ng Parangal held at the Kia Theater in Cubao on December 29. The “Magic 8” films fought head to head for the title of Best Picture, and of course actors of each film fought for the title of Best Actor and Best Actress.

When the Magic 8 Films hit theaters on Christmas Day, four films initially made it as box office hits namely, “Ang Babae sa Septic Tank 2: Forever is not Enough,” “Die Beautiful,” “Sekulsyon,” and “Vince and Kath and James.” During the MMFF 2016 Gabi ng Parangal, three of the four box office hits did not disappoint.
