The avid viewers of Maalala Mo Kaya are expecting nothing less than an award-winning performance from Jodi Sta. Maria. After all, Jodi was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2016.

In real life, Jodi Sta. Maria has a child with her ex-husband Pampi Lacson, son of Sen. Panfilo Lacson. Pampi, on the other hand, has a younger child with Iwa Moto. Jodi calls both children “angels.” See her Instagram photos featuring Thirdy and Mimi below.

Jodi and Pampi are making things work despite the complications in their family. Jodi’s hurts and struggles are expected to reflect on her performance as Marie in MMK March 4.

MMK March 4 To Break Moms’ Hearts

Jodi rediscovered fame when she played the role of Sir Chief’s Maya in Be Careful With My Heart on ABS-CBN. In the same network, Jodi was also part of Kathniel’s Pangako Sa ‘Yo, the teleserye reboot that paved the way for an Emmy nod for Jodi. Before these teleseryes, however, life was dark for the Tabing Ilog alum.

According to a Rappler report, Jodi was lost and broken after her marriage ended. In November last year, however, the Court of Appeals (CA) ruled that Jodi and Pampi’s marriage was considered “void from the start.”
