Mocha Uson Threats To Resign MTRCB Post, Ogie Diaz And Edgar Allan Guzman Comments

Blogger and sexy entertainer Mocha Uson took to Facebook a message threatening to resign as member of the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) just after a month of being appointed as such. Talent manager and radio talk show host Ogie Diaz and actor Edgar Allan Guzman scores Uson. He commented on her going public for her issues instead of bringing it up with the MTRCB chairman. Mocha Uson Explains Threat To Resign as MTRCB Member

For starters, Mocha Uson is not resigning as MTRCB member. According to MSN, Mocha merely wanted to stress a point through a video she posted on her Facebook account on Feb. 17. The 10-minute video was lengthily captioned, but one line made people jump to a conclusion that she was resigning. Translated in English she said, “If I could not convince my fellow members to instill change, then I might as well resign.”

The front woman of the girl group Mocha Girls explains her 10-minute video. She said that she just wanted change in the MTRCB and if she cannot be a catalyst to that change and if she cannot urge other members to do the same, then she might as well resign.

Mocha said, “Public pressure is needed to convince board members to stop SELF REGULATION on TV Networks.”

Mocha Uson On ‘The Better Half’ Kissing Scene and ‘Ipaglaban Mo’ Rape Scene

In the report, it said Mocha Uson’s fellow “Die hard Duterte Supporters (DDS)” complained about two ABS-CBN shows. A kissing scene on “The Better Half” which showed a woman on top of a man and a rape scene on “Ipaglaban Mo.”

Mocha investigated on these shows and found out through MTRCB records that some of these scenes were not reviewed by the board. She also found out that not all episodes pass through the MTRCB. The pilot episode of a show is the only one that gets reviewed and it is up to the network to self-regulate the other episodes.

The sexy entertainer says she has changed her ways and regrets every part of it and vows to eliminate soft porn and other inappropriate scenes on film and television. Mocha Uson has over 4M followers on Facebook and this is where she took her issues and mentions in her post that she needs “public pressure” to move the MTRCB board to remove the Self-regulation on TV networks. Some are supportive but some think she should take her issues to the right people.

Edgar Allan Guzman and Ogie Diaz Comments On Mocha Uson’s

Edgar  Allan Guzman of “Ipaglaban Mo” was vocal about the issue. In the report Edgar said he couldn’t accept the fact tha Mocha said his work was garbage. He said they worked hard to come up with the episode of “Ipaglaban Mo.” Edgar reminded Mocha of a “due process” if she had complaints and even said that as a board member, she should handle things better instead of ranting on social media.

Ogie Diaz could not help but comment on the issue as well. The report on MSN says Ogie Diaz understood where Mocha Uson was coming from. He took this to his Facebook as well saying Mocha could not change or implement these changes not unless she was the chairman of the MTRCB.

Ogie also scored Mocha for taking her issues to the public even before discussing it with her fellow MTRCB board members. Diaz expressed how he knew about some of Mocha Uson’s absences on the MTRCB meetings. He also mentioned how Mocha wasn’t that vocal when she was present in those meetings. In the report, Ogie said Mocha should know the role she took on and not vent her anger on social media for everyone to see.

Acotr Guzman further said the MTRCB was wiser in setting a meet to discuss the issue and added he was confident about his reputation compared to Mocha’s reputation in sexy movies back in 2012 and 2011.

Mocha Uson Uses MTRCB Salary For Charity

Just recently after Mocha Uson’s threat to resign, the sexy entertainer uploaded two videos on her Facebook page showing her withdraw her full salary amounting to P 60,600.00 as MTRCB member. She then bought milk and other products for abandoned babies who are under the care of the Department of Social Welfare and Development.

Mocha Uson explained that she cannot accept her salary as long as she does not see change happening in the MTRCB. Another reason would be she wants the public to know that MTRCB members are paid too much to allow networks to self-regulate.
