After another soundtrack getting featured on a movie, this time in “Love You To The Stars And Back,” Moira de la Torre’s career is really taking off. From her original song “Malaya” labeled as the official soundtrack of the indie romance film “Camp Sawi,” the young music artist is climbing her way up the ladder to Rock Stardom. To catch up with her, here are five of Moira de la Torre’s best videos on social media!

Moira de la Torre’s Best Videos

1. “Malaya” on Wish 107.5 Live

It had been more than a year since the release of the comedy-drama “Camp Sawi” starring Yassi Pressman, Sam Milby, Arci Muñoz and Bela Padilla. The featured soundtrack entitled “Malaya” had been sung by Moira de la Torre herself, and it was the anthem of the “Camp Sawi” fans. Even now, it’s still fresh in the playlist of most teenagers. And to refresh that song, here is Moira with “Malaya” again.

2. “Torete” by Moonstar88 Cover for “Love You To The Stars and Back”

Just after its fresh release on Philippine cinema, another comedy-adventure love story starring Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia called “Love You To The Stars and Back” had also called in Moira to sing a song for them. The original soundtrack had been the iconic “Torete” originally sung by Moonstar88. But in this film, it was covered by Moira de la Torre– quite beautifully too.

3. “Something I Need” by OneRepublic Cover

Throwback! Here’s another cover sung by our 23-year-old musical artist– before her professional singing career took off. On her Youtube Channel Moira de la Torre, you could find all the covers she made since 2010. This OneRepublic cover had been one of the first to gain over a million views. She had sung the duet with Luis Cortez, and in the video we could see young Moira evidently loving singing.

4. Song inspired by “Kita Kita”

Inspired by just another indie film that was a hit in the Philippines, Moira was not late to grab a friend and together, composed a song about the film “Kita Kita.” Singing with her was Jason Hernandez who performed and did the instrumentals for them. The result: a painfully beautiful song that could serve as another anthem for the film. Really Moira, are you some sort of anthem-of-the-heart composer or something?

5. Taste of new song “WHY HIM”

This August, the pop vocalist had just released a new song that was originally written and performed by Nieman Gatus. But the additional lyrics and vocals were provided by Moira herself. A clip of the video had been uploaded on her Instagram account where fans got wind of a new Moira de la Torre song. According to her, it’s her first RNB track– a different approach from her usual mellow acoustic tones.
