Morissette Amon, Wish 107.5

Former contestant of “The Voice of the Philippines” Morissette Amon bagged all six awards for major categories she was nominated for during the second Wish 107.5 Music Awards which was held at the Araneta Coliseum on Monday.

Morissette Amon’s Emotional Reaction, 2nd Wish 107.5 Music Awards

Morissette Amon is being hailed as “the next big diva.” During the second Wish 107.5 Music Awards, she took home awards for Best Wishclusive Performance by a Female Artist, Best Wishclusive Collaboration for “I Finally Found Someone” with Arnel Pineda, Wish Original Song Of the Year by a Female Artist for “Throwback” featuring KZ Tandingan, Wish Female Artist of the Year, and the special media awards category Wish Reactors Choice Award for “Secret Love Song.” She also got the Wish Viral Video of the Year and also nabbed the Wishexclusive Elite Circle Bronze Award for “Against All Odds” and “Secret Love Song.”

As she accepted all six awards, Morissette Amon couldn’t help but cry as the crowd was cheering. She had to stop for a few seconds to compose herself as she was lost for words. She then said, “I’m just really really grateful to all those who shared my videos, and to all those who were able to relate to the songs, thank you very much.” Morissette went on to acknowledge YouTube reaction videos which she watches at home.

Among other artists who were there during the awards, Tawag Ng Tanghalan semi-finalist Sam Mangubat also took home the Wish Promising Artist. In his speech Sam said, “Thank you so much Wish FM for giving me the opportunity to sing and perform for everyone.
