Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Johnny Depp, Osiris: The Last Fighter, Sleepless, Glaiza de Castro, The Wall, John Cena

It’s summer break! And what better way to spend it than to go grooving with friends at the cinema? Right now, cinemas are airing four must-see movies that’ll be worth your while: “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales,” “Osiris: The Last Fighter,” “Sleepless” and “The Wall.”

If you’re up for some zombie-sword fighting on the beach, then Captain Jack Sparrow of “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” has got you covered. If you want unworldly battles against slimy who-knows-what, then “Osiris: The Last Fighter” should set you up just right.

Meanwhile, Encantadia has just ended and if you want to see more of Glaiza de Castro, you should follow her in “Sleepless”. And finally, here is a different kind of battle: Get absorbed in the war of Aaron Taylor-Johnson and John Cena in a mentally breaking psychological thriller, “The Wall.”

Watch Trailers, May 26 movies: Tag with Jack Sparrow and the undead, Space Adventures, unlikely love stories and a Battle of Wits

Pirates of the Carribean: Dean Men Tell No Tales. Everyone’s favorite alcoholic, dreadlocks-wearing pirate is back! With more escape routes to squeeze in and enemies to swim from, Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow has returned with a new mission. Well, not exactly. If you’re up for some cruising (not the smooth kind) and zombie tags, then get set and ready for this film!

The adventure follows Jack as he hesitantly engages in an alliance with astronomer Carina Smyth (Kaya Scodlario) and sailor Henry (Brenton Thwaites) in an attempt to obtain the Trident of Poseidon. All throughout this, the notorious Captain Salazar has risen from the grave and with his army of ghost seafarers, has set to annihilate the entire pirate population. Dead set on Jack, the two play a deadly game of tag with the ocean as their playground.

Space Adventures with Kellan Lutz and the Gang. Nothing like a race against time to save your loved one to get your blood running. “Osiris: The Last Fighter” is an Australian film that features Kellan Lutz as Sy– a shifty convict and Daniel MacPherson as Kane, a respected lieutenant in their mission to save and locate Kane’s daughter. After an alliance with a couple renegades, they battle aliens, run like hell, and shoot with space guns.

In a post-apocalyptic world amid a global crisis and creeping flesh-eating aliens at every turn, this film can pass up as its own video game!

Glaiza de Castro’s Unlikely Love Story A film especially for the nocturnals. Gem (Glaiza de Castro) and Barry (Dominic Roco) are both call center agents who are used to working the graveyard shift. And in the moments where work isn’t there to distract them, they fall into a pit of quiet, sleepless nights. Both in a miserable state of ‘can’t move on,’ they are stuck in a moment of stillness and solitude.

Until, they spend the sleepless nights together– exploring, conversing, anything. They soon develop a bond in the moments that used to haunt them. It seems as if the cure for insomnia will be resolved in the delightful new film “Sleepless.”

A Great Battle of Wits. Directed by the acclaimed director of “Edge of Tomorrow” and “The Bourne Identity”, “The Wall” is here to mess with your head. It’s a different kind of battle– a battle of psychological control and mental strength. How are you going to last in this situation?

In a desert in Iraq, two U.S. soldiers are trapped under the mercy of an unseen Iraqi sniper. Shane is shot and lands on the ground, and Isaac is badly injured on his leg. With no sense of protection but a crumbling stone wall, Isaac forces himself to act in all rationality to save his colleague and himself. Factors such as famine, the searing sun, aching wounds and no sense of help affect Isaac as he struggles to survive.
