Models In JaDine’s Viral Video Respond To Issue

Nadine Lustre, now tagged as a “protective girlfriend,” took a swipe at the model fans who were asking James Reid for a photo at Revel in Bonifacio Global City. This incident didn’t please the fans and “attacked” the models online. These models chose to break their silence on the issue and decided to tell their side of their story. 

In a Facebook post from Darline Paranada as seen in an article by PEP, she tells the “real” story behind the viral video. Paranada states that JaDine and the rest of her girlfriends were just having a good time and said it was all meant as a joke. She said it shouldn’t be seen as a serious matter. This explains the text overlay on the video that says “Hahaha ang bad may pagtapik,” coupled with laughing emojis.

Paranada also defended other girls involved in the issue. In her narrative, Nika Madrid was first to ask for a picture. She claims fans made an issue about how Madrid’s chest was touching Reid’s side. Paranada says that it was an illusion from the angle the photo or video was taken. She also addressed the fans calling Madrid a “slut” all because of the photo with Reid.

The next to take a photo with Reid was Karen Gonzaga’s cousin who recently turned 18. She is the lady who Lustre pushed during a selfie with Reid. Paranada said that the video was only captured by her girlfriends at that time. They laughed about it since they thought Lustre was very protective of her boyfriend Reid.

 Before finishing the post, Paranada stressed that there was no issue at all. She blames it on people who are making the situation worse. She also added that JaDine went back to their table three times to invite them to an event in Cove Manila. Paranda states that the fans jumped to conclusions without knowing the real deal.
