Nadine Lustre sat as one of the DJs of Monster RX 93.1 FM on July Friday 28. Nadine was a guest on the show called All Out and was with DJs Rico Robles, Karla Aguas, and some student DJs. Soon after, Nadine Back On The Monster went trending. Did you know Nadine was once a student DJ under Monster once before? We tuned in to today’s show and here’s what we heard.
In case you didn’t know, Nadine was a communication student at Colegio de San Lorenzo. In 2013, she was a student DJ of Monster FM’s Radio One Class in 2013. She was among a few who were chosen to be part of the class then. Check the Facebook post below. So when fans learned about her guesting on the show, fans were in on a frenzy when Monster posted on Facebook a teaser of Nadine being on the show on its Friday episode. Nadine Lustre on Monster RX93.1 FM
Nadine Lustre was on air around 10 a.m. and around 11 a.m., Monster FM’s Rico asked Nadine some of her fondest memories while she was with the station back in 2013. Apparently, she was under the direct supervision of Rico at that time. Nadine said she recalled she was always paranoid. Trial by fire says Karla, as Rico would let her go on board and she was feeling her way through the buttons and working the microphone. Karla asked if Rico ever got mad at her and Nadine said never.
While Nadine was digging up more memories, Rico unearthed Nadine Lustre’s audition tape when she was trying out for Monster. She was nineteen then. As soon as Nadine heard her voice, she couldn’t help but laugh at herself and said, “I sound so different then.” In her audition tape, Nadine was heard introducing herself saying she was part of a group called “Pop Girls” and went on with her radio spills.
Rico also asked Nadine a question that talks about moving on and how she would do it. Nadine said, “Keep busy. You can’t stop thinking about that person, it takes time. Focus on yourself and do things that will make you happy.”
Nadine talks about James Reid. She also shared if James Reid prefers her with or without makeup. Nadine said James prefers her without makeup. Karla asked her the simplest but most effective thing James gave her. Nadine said it was the necklace James gave her with the word “Always” and flowers.
