Expect to get an amped-up screentime with this month’s new releases including Netflix Original Series “Marvel’s Daredevil Season 3,” “Making a Murderer: Part 2,” “Bodyguard,” and “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.” An October Like No Other with Netflix Originals Marvel’s Daredevil: Season 3 (October 19) Since the release of the Season 3 trailer, Daredevil fans are placed at the edge of their seats in suspense for what is coming next. According to Netflix, in season 3, Matt Murdock “reemerges a broken man, putting into question his future as both vigilante Daredevil and lawyer Matthew Murdock.” When his archenemy, Wilson Fisk, is released from prison, Matt is faced with a choice of either hiding from the world or embracing his destiny as a hero. Making a Murderer: Part 2 (October 19) Netflix’s true-crime show, “Making a Murderer,” returns this October for its second part and is expected to have 10 episodes. Part one of the hit series zeroed in on Avery who was imprisoned for 18 years for a rape before being exonerated by DNA testing. The second part will look into the post-conviction process and how this affects Avery, Dassey and those around him. Part 2 will also introduce his post-conviction lawyer, Kathleen Zellner, who is trying to prove that Avery was wrongfully convicted. Bodyguard (October 24) The most-watched drama in the UK is finally coming to Netflix. BBC News reported that “Bodyguard” reached about 11 million viewers in the finale of Season 1 which is considered the “biggest overnight drama figure since 10.5 million saw Downton Abbey’s series two finale in November 11.” The series stars Game of Thrones star Richard Madden as David Budd, a former soldier assigned to protect a prominent politician. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (October 26) With Netflix gearing up for Holloween, the debut of “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” is is coming at the right time. The TV series comes in 20 episodes and is based on the Archie comic and it tells the story of a 16-year old girl named Sabrina who must choose to either be a witch, following the footsteps of her family, or be a normal kid just like her friends.
