They paint a more accurate picture of what we’re feeling and thinking on the other side of the screen. And they also sometimes make it easier for us to express what we want to say. Angry? Here’s a red-faced emoji for you. Feeling festive? Here are some fireworks and sparkles for you. Disgusted? Here’s a rolling eyes emoji for you. With these, we can express what words can’t really fully relay. And for this year’s World Emoji Day, Apple has released a preview of a new emojis 2019 collection for us to look forward to. And there’s a LOT to be excited about. 👏 New: Apple Reveals New 2019 Emojis for #WorldEmojiDay including waffle, flamingo, sloth and more https://t.co/DU2p7XpzRa pic.twitter.com/IUpVpwn7B7 — Emojipedia 📙 (@Emojipedia) July 16, 2019 For one, this new collection features greater human representation. We’ll be having emojis of people in wheelchairs, people who are deaf, and much more. The animal emojis will also have a few additions as well as the food emojis. Then, we’ll also get a few clothing emoji additions such as the sari, swimsuit, and safety vest. A few other random emoji additions include a banjo, a kit, a yawning face, and a person parachuting. Among all those, here are 5 that really takes the cake of the new emojis 2019: 1. Emojis Representing People with Disabilities Every single one of these emojis representing people with disabilities is a highlight to this year’s new emoji collection. People may say that it’s just emojis but, there’s a heartwarming accomplishment in there and a cause for celebration. There’s an emoji for a person in two types of wheelchair, a person who’s deaf, and a person using a cane. Then, there are also emojis for prosthetic arms and legs and hearing aid. It’s not every day you get to see this kind of representation and inclusion. And it’s something the world has to take note off. 2. Guide Dog Emoji Wider representation means representation for everyone even our adorable and helpful furry little friends. These puppers who dedicate themselves to helping our kind are also rightfully getting their moment in history. And who would object? They deserve it just as every bit as humans do. Now, every time we’ll see them, we’ll be reminded of just how sweet and loving these creatures are more than ever. And their love and memories will now be immortalized. 3. Holding Hands Emoji The holding hands emoji is fun and all. But, what’s more exciting is the new skin tone and gender options for the emoji. No more just plain yellow girl and boy. This year, we’ll be enjoying emojis full of diversity. In this year’s new collection, the pair can have different skin tones as well as the same or different genders. And in addition to that, the emojis for persons with disabilities are also being blessed with the skin tone and gender options. If that isn’t one of the most pleasant upgrades, I don’t know what is. 4. Sloth Emoji Let’s face it, sloths are just as adorable as puppies and kittens. And having emojis of them could really brighten up someone’s day. I mean, come on, they’re one of the cutest in the new emojis 2019. If they’re not really your thing, there are others including a flamingo, orangutan, and a skunk which are all just as precious. There’s also going to be a little otter emoji which might even be cuter than the rest. But sadly, it’s not out yet. For now, we’ll just have to wait a little bit more to add these cute critters to our daily conversations. 5. Food Emojis Food emojis are the best. They can convey many words in just one picture. Now, there’s an ice cube, felafels, a waffle, garlic, and a slab of butter added to the mix. And they’re set to make conversations a little bit easier. Just imagine your mom asking you to go to the grocery and when you ask her what she needs, she just sends you these emojis. That would just take a few taps and far less time wasted for you as you wait for them to type down the whole list. Thank you indeed new emojis 2019. Facebook Comments
