Nokia 6 Launches on Android 7.0

Nokia makes a big come back through HMD Global with its first ever smartphone running on Android Nougat 7.0. After how many years of not being so much as to be noticed, here comes Nokia 6. The smartphone paves the way for Nokia’s journey to success as it is not the only smartphone to be released this 2017.

HMD Global made the announcement of the new product on their website on Sunday. The product launches in China and HMD says “the decision is a reflection of the desire to meet the real world needs of  consumers in different markets around the world.”

Nestor Xu, Vice President Greater China of HMD Global said, “China is the largest and most competitive smartphone market in the world. It is no coincidence that we have chosen to bring our first Android device to China with a long-term partner, JD.com.” Arto Nummela, CEO of HMD global said Nokia 6 is a result of how they listed to consumers who want durability, entertainment and display features.

Nokia 6 Features, Specs And Price, What

Nokia 6 currently runs on Android 7.1, which is by far the latest version up to date. It has a 5.5 inch display screen (Not forgetting its High Definition resolution) and a body made out of aluminum. Another awesome feature is that it comes with a 16MP rear-cam with phase-detection auto-focus. Configurations this camera has is on equal footing with Vivo, LeEco and Xiaomi and an 8MP front cam.

One of the best things features of the Nokia 6 is it also includes an immense amount of storage. All 64 GB of glorious internal storage and 4GB of RAM. And don’t forget about the sound system too. Nokia 6 would be packed with Dual Dolby Atmos speakers that come with dual amplifiers. All of this and many other features for about $245.

However, looking at all the awesome things the smartphone has, it seems it has its downsides. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor which is not that strong according to some.

Apparently, not everyone’s expectations would be met by the smartphone, but sources say that they will be releasing up to seven smartphones. Looks like a lot of good things will be coming for us all this 2017.
