We have PayMaya for paying online bills, Food Panda and GrabFood for food deliveries, and many more. How many of these apps do you have on your phone now and how many times have you used them? We’re not asking for another ECQ situation in the next few years and definitely not asking for another Covid-19 situation. But in case something like this happens again, might as well have these apps to survive a lockdown. Must-Have Online Apps during a lockdown PayMaya First on our list is PayMaya. This is an online payment account that has an app that you can easily use anytime anywhere. It allows you to pay electric, water, internet, and other bills you might have right from the comfort of your homes. Through PayMaya you can also get e-load, pay for food you order online seamlessly, and even pay anything you purchase through online stores or even in online games. You can also get any app you want on the App Store or even Google Play or even book flights with a PayMaya Card. The best part is, you can load it up through convenience stores or even right from a bank account you already have. It’s no hassle payment for everyday needs. Never have to cue in line for paying bills ever again and never have to worry about going out when in lockdown. If you don’t have it yet, set up an account now, download the app and get started. Click here to set up an account now. Food Panda There are a lot of food deliveries out there but if you want one with a wide array of options, go for Food Panda. Their delivery time is not bad, they have an effective system online, and they have friendly staff. Food is a need and if you don’t get quality service for that, it makes life at home for a long period of time more stressful. Zoom It seems Zoom has been a must-have not only for professionals but for students as well. During a lockdown, it is assumed that life outside our homes must go on. When I say life I mean school or work. Having classes online and having online consultations is now the new normal so might as well make sure you have this app ready anytime. Spotify, Netflix Mobile App, or any E-book app Music is considered a need when it comes to working from home. The Spotify App gives you the opportunity to curate your own playlist for every mood or every occasion. This makes life better knowing that you get entertained while doing what you have to do throughout the day. Plus, you pay for a reasonable amount and have all of your music available offline. If you didn’t know, Netflix now offers a P149 mobile-only plan. For that amount, you get unlimited access to movies they offer. This could keep you pre-occupied for all those unsurvivable downtimes that is, of course, when you are done scrolling through Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. This is a need most especially if you want to keep yourself sane. Entertainment is a must-have. If you are into books or reading, make sure you have an app that works for you as well. These are just a few must-have apps that you should consider having in your phone labeled as your “ECQ Survival Kit.” If a lockdown happens anytime soon and we still hope it never happens, at least you know you are ready to work and play while at home. Here’s to a few more days in quarantine! Hang in there fellow ECQ survivor! Facebook Comments
