According to the Philippine Star, the magnitude 5.4 earthquake happened at around 9:41 a.m. The report mentioned that PHILVOC said the tremor was an aftershock of the quake felt in Jaro, Leyte on Thursday, July 7. The magnitude 5.4 tremor had a depth of focus of 6 km.
