Pag-IBIG fund members nationwide can now conveniently pay their loan repayments and savings without leaving the comfort of their homes and offices. With Pag-IBIG’s new partnership with PayMaya, members can now pay through digital and card payments to the agency’s online and branch channels.

Pag-IBIG fund members can now use their Visa, Mastercard, JCB credit, prepaid, and debit card to pay their loans and remit their savings. While PayMaya account holders can also use their mobile numbers linked to their e-wallet to pay via the Pag-IBIG online portal. In addition to that, PayMaya will also be installing One by PayMaya point-of-sale devices to Pag-IBIG Fund branches nationwide. This would allow members to pay through multiple modes of cashless payments via tap, swipe, dip for cards and pay-to-scan via QR. And it would enable Pag-IBIG to accept any payments via Visa, Mastercard, prepaid, and debit card as well as PayMaya QR payments.

“With this partnership, our members now have an even wider range of options whenever they need to transact with Pag-IBIG Fund. For those who don’t want to leave their homes or offices, they can pay conveniently online. Overseas Filipino Workers would also be able to have easier access to payment options through our website powered by PayMaya. This is our way of bringing our services one convenient step closer to Pag-IBIG Fund members, wherever they may be,” said Acmad Rizaldy P. Moti, the Chief Executive Officer of Pag-IBIG Fund.

The new deal is in line with the government’s agenda of providing more convenient and more accessible public services to the nation. By this as well, PayMaya is helping transform 20% of national transactions to digital, a goal the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas wants to achieve by 2020. And aside from the convenience it offers, this new payment method also assures better security and efficiency by lessening cash handling.
