Basketball fans were also in for a treat as when PBA superstar Asi Taulava went up close with fans while internet sensation Carrot Man thrilled spectators aboard his own float. Celebrities At The Float Parade Jeyrick Sigmaton, more popularly known as “Carrot Man” surprised the audience with his appearance as he rode the Wedding Memories float. The internet sensation was the first star to appear in the float parade. Next was the famous AlDub tandem. Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza were the faces of the GMA float at the same highlighting their soon to premiere teleserye, “Destined to be Yours.” The next starstruck moment was when the NLEX SCTEX float paved its way to the crowd with the PBA superstar Asi Taulava in the lead. Taulava of NLEX basketball team happily shook hands and took photos with his fans. Baguio girl Miss International 2016 Kylie Versoza smiled and waved from the Tropicana Float, showing her beauty and grace, proving how much of a stunner she is. “A Love to Last” stars Bea Alonzo and Enchong Dee were the next to make the audience scream as they paraded on the ABS-CBN float during the parade. The pair waved to their fans as their teleserye OSTplayed. The last celebrity who graced the parade making the crowd go beyond the rope barriers was the matinee idol, Jericho Rosales. He was riding the grand float of M.Lhuillier, waving as he made the girls screaming. AJ Racca, a yearly Panagbenga float parade watcher from Ilocos Sur, said “Bale sa akin, normal na yun (Float Parade) pero yung mga tinitignan namin yung mga artista.” Even yearly Panagbenga Festival goers, Esperanza DeGuzman and Josie Discaya, of Bulacan said that they enjoyed seeing the celebrities in personal. “Ang inabangan talaga namin ‘yung floats, kasi mahilig kami sa mga flowers, pero artista na rin.” Discaya explained.
