TV host Paolo Ballesteros breaks his silence on rumors about his six-month suspension on GMA’s Eat Bulaga. The “Kalye Serye” host also gives his statement on rumors about being an alcoholic and being a problem on the noon time show.
Paolo Ballesteros On Eat Bulaga 6-Month Suspension
According to PEP, Paolo was suspended for 6 months due to an incident in Subic in March during the Ad Summit Pilipinas 2016. He posted a rant on Facebook about how he and his co-hosts weren’t treated well when they arrived at the venue. His rant and behavior cost him a 6-month suspension. Paolo returned to Eat Bulaga on September 5 as he hosted “Juan for All, All for Juan.”
During the Metro Manila Film Festival press conference on December 5, Paolo was asked about what he realized in those six months. He said, “Self-realization…don’t take your worlk for granted.” There were rumors about how Paolo was a problem to the production of the show. To that, Paolo said, “I don’t think I would last 16 years on the show if I was a problem.”

Paolo Ballesteros On Drinking Problem Rumors
Since his suspension on Eat Bulaga, issues about the TV host surfaced. Apart from being a ‘problem’ of the show, Paolo has been rumored to have a drinking problem. It is said that Paolo drinks alcohol while shooting segments of Eat Bulaga.
Paolo tells PEP, “Yes, we can’t say no if people in the barangay would offer us a drink…Most especially during noon, Filipinos are like that…I’ve been with Eat Bulaga for 16 years, i know my limitations.” When asked if he would consider himself an alcoholic, Paolo said, ” Ofcourse not. I’m not an alcoholic.” He added that he had an alcoholic friend who passed away. “I’ve seen how he was as an alcoholic, that’s not me,” he said.
