ABS-CBN’s PBB Lucky Season 7 winner was announced Sunday, March 5, at the Alonte Sports Arena in Laguna. The winner is nineteen-year-old Maymay Entrata. (Read the full recap of the season’s final PBB Big Night here.) In her speech, Maymay inspired everyone to be fearless and real.
PBB Big Winner Is Maymay Entrata of Cagayan De Oro
Maymay was born Marydale Entrata in Cagayan De Oro. Kuya’s big winner seems to be a fun and compassionate young woman. Her laughter always kept Big Brother’s house alive throughout the longest season of the real-life teleserye. She got 42.71 percent of the votes cast on the Big Night. The runner-up, Kisses, got 31.27 percent of the votes. Third placer Yong got 21.52 percent of the votes, while fourth placer Edward got 4.49 percent. The voting window was open for only 25 minutes.

Here’s is the full speech of Maymay Entrata during the conclusion of PBB Lucky Season 7 Big Night:
“Maraming salamat dahil pinili n’yong maging bahagi kayo sa pangarap ko at matupad ang mga ‘to. Gusto ko lang sabihin sa inyo na ‘wag na ‘wag kayo matakot mangarap. Pangalawa, ‘wag na ‘wag n’yo kakalimutan, kung sa’n man kayo mapunta sa pangarap n’yo, ‘yung mga taong tumutulong sa inyo. Pangatlo, kung nasa dulo na kayo ng inyong mga pangarap, at kapag kayo ay nadapa, lagi n’yo lang tatandaan kung paano kayo nagsimula at kung bakit nasa dulo na kayo ng inyong pangarap. At ang panghuli, ‘wag na ‘wag kayong matakot magpakatotoo kung alam n’yo naman tama kayo, dahil d’yan kayo dadalhin ng inyong pangarap, patungo sa inaasam n’yong tagumpay. Maraming, maraming salamat sa inyong lahat.”
Maymay’s message is all about fulfilling one’s dream. She inspired courage and gratitude among everyone. She reminded the audience to get back up should they fall. Maymay has shown in her speech that she is wise beyond her years.
Two housemates, presumably Maymay and Kisses, were neck and neck on top of the voting results in PBB March 4, the first part of the Big Night. In order of the PBB big winner voting results, these are the Lucky 7 housemates who completed the longest PBB season ever: Maymay, Kisses, Yong, Edward, Tanner, Hashtag boys McCoy and Nikko, and Cora. The bottom three of the results each shared only about five percent (plus decimal points) to almost six percent of the voters’ pie.
Despite being part of a love team known as Mayward (Maymay and Edward), Maymay stayed focused on her goal inside Kuya’s house. This goal, said Maymay, was to show the world what she can do.
