Who knew cupid could be your local postman? This year, love isn’t only in the air, but it’s in the mail. Philippine postmen get to spread the love and romance this Valentine’s day by playing the cupid through the Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) ‘Love Express’.
Valentine’s Day, Philippines Postmen To Deliver ‘Love Express’
‘Love Express’ is a delivery campaign where you can surprise your loved ones or significant other. Through the Love Express ‘Domestic Express Mail Package’, you can send gifts, stuffed toys, chocolates, cards, or flowers to be delivered to your loved one for 200 pesos for the first 1,000 grams.
If you think that’s the most romantic it can get, it gets even sweeter. The PHLPost is back at it again with the ‘Singing Kartero’, wherein people pay for a mailman to serenade their sweetheart with two songs, along with a bouquet of flowers and mail delivery for 2,000 pesos. Talk about ‘kilig!’
If you want to make things more personal and really stamp it with ‘you’, PHLPost also offers printing photos, even your own selfie, as personalized stamps priced at 17 pesos each.
If that doesn’t suit your tastes, PHLPost also has limited edition Valentine’s Day stamps already released. Interested buyers or collectors should get their hands on them quick because only 101,000 copies have been printed. They’re sold at 12 pesos each.
That’s not all, for those who avail of the Domestic Express Mail Package or the Singing Kartero package, it gives you the chance to win a 2,000 peso worth dinner for two- what a way to spread the love. To join, just post a photo of either the Singing Kartero or the package and hashtag it with #PHLPOSTLoveExpress and #PusuanMoBes on Facebook.
If you’re looking for a unique, quirky, but sweet way to say ‘I love you’, why don’t you give Love Express a try. The PHLPost will be offering these services from February 8 until Valentine’s day.
