Pia Wurtzbach: No Plans To Get Married Or Be A Mom Yet

Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach is set to turn over her Miss Universe crown on January 30, in Manila, Philippines. As her reign as Miss Universe is about to end, speculations about what her plans are after it started to spread like wildfire. The wildest speculation among them is that she was ready to get married and have a baby with rumored boyfriend, Marlon Stockinger. Pia Wurtzbach took to Twitter last January 4 to assure the public that this was not so.

Pia Wurtzbach On Twitter, ‘Kalma Lang Po’

In her Twitter post, Pia put to rest rumors that she was in fact settling down and having a baby after her reign. Her tweet read: “Just to be clear, wala po akong balak magkaanak o magasawa after Miss Universe. Kalma lang po.”

Rumors about her post-Miss Universe plans were fueled by earlier reports that she was dating race car driver Marlon Stockinger. In October, Stockinger admitted that they were “seeing each other.” In early January, photos of Pia and Marlon during their beach holiday in Hawaii went viral and sent fans on a frenzy thinking about the pair’s future.

Pia Wurtzbach Finally Admits She And Marlon Stockinger Are Together

During an interview with Dyan Castillejo on ANC, Pia finally admitted that she and Marlon were in a relationship. According to a Philippine Star report, this admission comes several months after Marlon confessed that they were dating.

Pia had this to say about her boyfriend: “He makes me laugh. I’m glad that I finally met somebody who’s very secure with himself and who understands my job and who’s not afraid to let me have my moment such as now that the competition is happening here.” She also mentioned that she liked the fact that Marlon is also a Catholic and a Filipino.

As far as the Miss Universe Organization is concerned, Pia said they are aware of and in fact approve of their relationship. Both the organization’s president Paula Shugart and public relations head Esther Swan like Marlon, according to Pia.
