Pia Wurtzbach Set To Host Binibining Pilipinas 2017

Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach will once again grace the stage of the most prestigious pageant in the country- Binibining Pilipinas 2017, now as a host. She will be hosting alongside actress and model KC Concepcion. 

Wurtzbach’s manager Jonas Gaffud announced the beauty queen’s hosting duties on his Facebook as seen below. He shared: “By the way, Pia Wurtzbach will be hosting this year’s Bb. Pilipinas edition. Isn’t it exciting?”

According to the Manila Bulletin, the beauty queen will be joining actress and ambassadress KC Concepcion who also hosted the previous year’s competition alongside actor and TV host Xian Lim.

Currently, Wurtzbach is a guest judge on Asia’s Next Top Model Season 5. The Filipino pride works alongside respected personalities in the industry such as supermodel Cara G. McIlroy, art director and photographer Yu Tsai and Thai-American beauty queen and model, Cindy Bishop.

This  April 30th, 40 candidates will take the Binibining Pilipinas stage, all wishing to win one of the six titles in this battle of beauty and brains. The Coronation will be held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao.

From 95 aspirants, Binibining Pilipinas 2017 candidates are now down to 40. The Filipina beauties are recently seen preparing for their recital performance, all dancing to the beat of Ed Sheeran’s hit, “Shape of You”. These lovely ladies practiced their number in a pink sleeveless and denim bottoms. They were as refreshing and stunning as the beach where they are rehearsing. From their simple dance moves, one can tell how these beautiful ladies will daze the audiences as they grace the stage of Binibining Pilipinas.

The 40 are all vying to win six Binibining Pilipinas titles including- Bb. Pilipinas Supranational, Intercontinental,  Grand International, Miss Globe Philippines, Bb. Pilipinas International and Miss Universe Philippines.
