Pilipinas Got Talent 2018 Mar 24-25 Highlights: Nocturnal Dance Company, Orville Tonido First Grand Finalists

Pilipinas Got Talent Season 6 kicks off its live semi-finals round on Mar. 24 and 25. Six acts who made it to the semifinals perform to impress the viewers and the judges. On Mar. 25, voting lines will open after which the first 2 grand finalists will be announced.

Pilipinas Got Talent 1st Live Semi Finals

On Mar. 24, four semi finalists took to the stage to showcase their talents once again. These were pole dancer Johnny Villanueva, Salimpokaw Dance Company, comedian Orville Tonido and singing trio Maka Girls.

Johnny Villanueva made use of not just one pole, but two poles in his act. Maka Girls gave a powerful rendition of “Power” by Little Mix which impressed Vice Ganda. Salimpokaw stayed true to traditional Filipino dance with their Singkil, while Orville brought on major laughs with his act.

On Mar. 25, golden buzzer Nocturnal Dance Company showed another unique dance act to the beat of traditional Filipino children’s songs. Vape artist JM Bayot impressed the audience with his vape tricks.

Voting Lines Open: How To Vote

After the last two performances, voting lines were opened. There are two ways to vote: by sending a SMS/text to 2366 or by logging on to your Google account, search for PGT vote, and check the picture of the semi finalist. Only one vote is allowed per Google account.

After the voting lines closed, the top three acts who got the most votes were called on stage. Nocturnal Dance Company got the highest votes, sending them straight to the grand finals.

Orville and JM were subjected to the judges votes. Orville became the second grand finalist after getting two votes from Angel and Vice Ganda. Robin voted for JM.

Next Week’s Set Of Semi Finalists

PGT 6’s semi finals comes back on Easter Sunday, April 1 with 4 acts vying for 2 slots in the grand finals. Golden Buzzer Kristel de Catalina goes up against Bu-Aywa Dance Troupe, Xtreme Dancers and magician Jephtah Callitong.
