Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Pilipinas Got Talent 6 is entering its final stage next week. During their last semi-finals weekend on Apr. 21 to 22, the talent show completed its line up of 10 grand finalists. Completing the line up were Jonacris Bandillo and the only outdoor act to join the grand finals, CEBECO II Blue Knights. The two finalists join the rest of the 8 grand finalists for the final live performance on April 28 and 29 at the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center in San Fernando, Pampanga. Pilipinas Got Talent 6: All Acts Try To Level Up With no Golden Buzzer act among the final line up of semi-finalists, all acts were expected to level up their performances. This round of the semi-finals was held at a different venue, owing to the nature of the performances to be done. First to take the stage was the Dancing Fire Warriors. During auditions, they impressed the judges with their fire dance that also showed the story of Lapu-Lapu’s victory over the Spaniard Magellan. Their semi-final performance however did not impress the judges as much. Although they used fireworks for more pizzazz, they seemed to lack energy, according to Vice Ganda. Second to perform was Rico the Magician, who wowed the audience with his magic acts. The judges praised him for his love of his craft. However, they also noted that he did not show anything new. Antonio Bathan, Jr.’s talent is spoken word poetry. If he brought on major ‘kilig’ vibes during his audition, his semi-final act was not able to sustain this. The final semi-finalist for the night is the belly dancing group Angel Fire New Gen. Their daring performance made use of something they have not used before – the element of fire. Their gamble however paid off, as Vice Ganda and Angel praised them for their energy. One Of A Kind Acts Continue To Amaze On Apr. 22, two unique acts bring on their semi-finals game. The daring pole balancing and dancing act of CEBECO II Blue Knights were pre-recorded because of safety issues. They performed a longer dance and balance act which left the audience and the judges amazed. Jonacris Bandillo who reminds everyone of a young Efren Bata Reyes, showed the judges 6 billiard tricks. Robin said he was very impressed with Jonacris’ precision. After public voting closed, the results were announced by host Toni Gonzaga. Jonacris Bandillo received the highest number of votes at over 35 per cent, automatically making him the 9th grand finalist. The judges then voted between CEBECO and Anthony Bathan Jr. where CEBECO II Blue Knights emerged as the winner, making them the 1oth grand finalist. The grand finals of Pilipinas Got Talent 6 will be broadcast live from the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center in San Fernando, Pampanga on Apr. 28 and 29 on ABS-CBN.
