Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Vice Ganda’s Golden Buzzer act Kristel De Catalina and Xtreme Dancers from Mindanao become the next two acts to join the roster of grand finalists for Pilipinas Got Talent 6. During PGT’s 2nd live semi-finals on April 1, 4 acts vied for the two slots to the grand finals of the talent search. Kristel De Catalina Continues To Impress Judges, Audience The petite dancer continued to impress the judges and the audience with her aerial dance act to the song “Ikaw.” Vice Ganda, who gave Kristel the Golden Buzzer, told her to continue sharing her talent and not to lose her heart, which is what makes her performance unique and beautiful. Angel Aquino praised Xtreme Dancers for their good choice of OPM music and the story they told in their dance. Robin Padilla said that they will give his Golden Buzzer act (the 1st grand finalist) a good competition. Vice Ganda, on the other hand, was looking for something “extreme” from their act. Bu-aywa Folkloric Dance Troupe And Jepthah “Wow Magic” Callitong Bu-aywa Folkloric Dance Troupe performed a dance with some of the dancers on stilts or ‘kadang-kadang.’ Their star dancer, who happens to be blind, however, was injured and could not perform her steps fully. Close-up magician and comedian Jepthah Callitong however had a weak run after he failed to do some of this tricks during his act. Kristel Gets Highest Votes After a performance by Nyoy Volante, Eumee Capile and the Your Face Sounds Familiar kids, hosts Billy Crawford and Toni Gonzaga announced the act who got the highest votes. Kristel De Catalina garnered a whopping 78.96% of the total combined votes, making her the 3rd grand finalist. The judges then voted for who among the remaining acts will become the 4th grand finalist. Xtreme Dancers got all three votes from the judges. Next weekend, 6 more semi-finalists will take the stage to vie for two more slots to the grand finals. Pilipinas Got Talent airs every Saturday and Sunday at 7:30 p.m. on ABS-CBN.
