Pilipinas Got Talent Jan. 7 Highlights: One Of A Kind Cebu Act Wows Judges

The CEBECO Blue Knights on Pilipinas Got Talent, Jan. 7 episode.

Pilipinas Got Talent Season 6 on Jan. 7 comes back with another set of live auditions. Four acts from Central Visayas took the stage, with three acts getting the much-needed approval from the judges.

The one of a kind performance of the CEBECO Blue Knights, which was also the first outdoor performance of the season also wowed everyone.

Pilipinas Got Talent Is All About Uniqueness

First up on the stage is arnis artist Janah Jade Lavador from Cebu City. This 13-year-old showed off her martial arts moves, which especially impressed judge Robin Padilla. Robin as it turns out is also an arnis practitioner. He joined Janah on stage and demonstrated his expertise in the Filipino martial art. After the audition, all 4 judges approved of her performance, qualifying her for the next round.

Another unique act from Cebu call themselves Type 1 Dance Company. Composed of members from different walks of life, they took the stage by storm with their summer and surfing-inspired production number. What struck the audience and the judges were their one of a kind antics such as simulating surfing on stage and the amazing back flip of their heaviest member. They received 4 Yes votes from the judges.

CEBECO Blue Knights Scale New Heights

Perhaps the most exciting of the auditions is that of the CEBECO Blue Knights. This group of linemen from a local electric cooperative performed the Baby Shark dance on top of 35-ft electric wooden poles. According to them, this was part of their training as linemen which tested how unafraid they were of heights. Judge FMG described it as something he has not seen before in his life. All 4 judges voted Yes for the group.

A solo dancer from Bohol province was the fourth auditioner. Dionisio Boquiren, Jr. however failed to impress the judges with his “sexy” dance.
