Lea Salonga shared a tweet about it just hours ago. Her tweet read, “Two pinay Shuyler sisters in the West End@ To Rachelle Ann Go and Christine Allado, Congratulations! Have Fun, Lin Manuel.” The West End is a term for mainstream professional theater set in the large theaters in and near the West End of London. It is considered to represent the highest level of commercial theater. Rachelle Ann Gom And Christine Allado Play the Shuyler Sisters According to a report by Broadway, also shared by Lea Salonga on Twitter, two Filipinas have been tapped to play two of the wealthy Shuyler sisters in the play “Hamilton.” Rachelle Ann go tapped for the role of Eliza Shuyler Hamilton while Christine Allado, the role of Eliza’s sister, Peggy Shuyler. The other sister, Angelica Schuyler, is set to be given to singer and theater actress Rachel John. Rachelle and Christine will be joined by Giels Terera, Rachek John, Olivier nominee Jason Pennycooke, newcomer Tarinn Callender, Cleve September and Maria Reynolds. “Hamilton” is rumored to start in November this year and although their representatives haven’t confirmed the casting, report says a “Miss Saigon” spokesperson says Go will leave the “Miss Saigon” production in August. The West Ens singer and actress Christine Allado on the other hand played the lead in the production of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s “In the Heights” in April last year.In September last year, Rachelle played the role of Fantine in the West End original “Les Miserables”.
