Raspado is the first pinoy to win the title for the country. One could remember John Raspado from “I Am Pogay” on ABS-CBN’s noontime show, “It’s Showtime” in 2014. Raspado joined and won the contest and now takes his talent and advocacy to a bigger pageant winning numerous awards. He nabbed Best Swimwear, Mr. Online Vote, Mr. Interview, Best in Formal Wear, and Mr. Social Media at the Mr. Gay World 2017 pageant. Filipino John Fernandez Raspado wins Mr. Gay World 2017 In October 2016, John Raspado won the Mr. Gay World Philippines pageant held at the Up theater. He represented the Philippines and grabbed the title Mr. Gay World. Spain won first runner-up followed by Beligum, South Africa and Switzerland. On Facebook, John thanked the Mr. Gay World Pageant Organizers most especially it’s head, Wilbert Tolentino. He gave special mention to his roommates Mr. Belgium and Mr. Venezuela and called out Filipino supporters in Spain. The thirty-five-year-old is an entrepreneur who does online marketing. He loves to cook and calls himself a food enthusiast. John loves getting in shape and regularly goes to the gym and is engaged in adventure sports.
