Good news for Pokémon trainers as “Pokémon GO” expands with eighty more Pokémons and additional features which are made available later this week. The updates include more opportunities to evolve Pokémon, new gameplay, new berries, new Avatars and an expanded wardrobe.
Pokémon Go, 80 New Characters, New Evolutions, Gameplay and More
On Feb. 15, Niantic has announced through their website and social media platforms that Gen 2 will be rolling out soon. Trainers will be able to catch more than 80 Pokémon originally found in the Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver video games. Pokémon Go fans would now be able to catch Chikorita, Cyandaquil, Totodile and many more.
Niantic also promised more opportunities to evolve Pokémon in Pokémon Go. Pokémon found in Kanto regions will be able to evolve into Pokémon that could live in the Johto region. Be sure to check out those PokéStops for new evolution items.
Trainers remain calm as you encounter Pokémon in the wild. They don’t react the same way as they did before. New item carousels are available directly from the encounter screen to select berries and Pokéballs.
Of course Niantic made sure that Pokémon in the new Pokémon Go would get new Berries. Just spin the Photo Discs at PokéStops to get either Nanab Berries or Pinap Berries. Nanab Berries make a Pokémon’s movement slower and easier to catch while the Pinab Berry doubles the Candy trainers receive if the next catch attempt succeeds.
One of the greatest upgrades for the new Pokémon Go: new Avatars and an Expanded Wardrobe. This time, trainer’s Avatars would get a complete upgrade and you could customize practically everything. From the hats down to shirts pants and more.
No exact dates as to the release of the updates but Niantic says trainers could enjoy these new features this week.
