Movie Mix December 6: Movies for the Eclectic “Widows” is surely a must-watch with Hollywood A-Listers Viola Davis, Michelle Rodriguez, Elizabeth Debicki, Cynthia Erivo, Colin Farrell, Brian Tyree Henry, Daniel Kaluuya, Jacki Weaver, Carrie Coon, Robert Duvall, and Liam Neeson. The film is about a group of women who have no choice but to finish the heist their husbands started and got killed doing to pay back a notorious crime boss. Post-apocalyptic adventure movie, “Mortal Engines,” is based on four novels of the same name written by Philip Reeve. It tells the story of a Londoner named Tom who gets in the way of assassin Hester Shaw, spoiling her attempt to kill Thaddeus Valentine – a man Hester blames of killing her mother. Because of this, both Tom and Hera are forced out of the city and team up with the Resistance. Japanese anime, “Pokémon the Movie: The Power of Us,” is the second film in the rebooted series of films and sequel to “Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You!” IMDB says that this film focuses on the individual stories of the characters: Lisa, a high school girl starting out as a Pokemon trainer; Karachi, who can’t stop lying to Torito; a researcher lacking confidence in himself; Hisui, an old lady who hates touching Pokemon; and Rarugo, a mysterious young girl who watches over the forest by herself. “Amityville the First” goes back to that frightful night of November 13, 1974 where Ronald DeFeo, Jr., took the lives of everyone in his family while they slept with a powered rifle. When he was on trial and asked why he did it, he said that the voices he heard in his house told him to do so. Thus, begins the Amityville haunting. Facebook Comments
