Be sure to hit the theaters because the big screen on March 1 features Hugh Jackman as Logan, Octavia Spencer and Sam Worthington in The Shack, Josh Gad and Dennis Quaid in A Dog’s Purpose, and Angel Aquino, Mommy Dionisia Pacquiao and Lyca Gairanod in Tatlong Bibe. Hugh Jackman is Unable to Hide in Post-Apocalyptic World in Logan The superhero film zeroes into the life of the Marvel character Wolverine. In the post-apocalyptic future, mutants are almost extinct and Professor X is gravely ill. To help care for the Professor, Logan hides his from the world as a limo driver for their survival. This doesn’t last long, unfortunately. When a woman asks Logan help to save a young mutant who is chased by dark forces, Logan is forced to unleash his true self and become who he has always been – Wolverine. The Shack is Solace to a Grieving Father, Sam Worthington, in his Crisis of Faith When a father suffers from a family tragedy, depression seeps in causing him to doubt and question his beliefs and his faith. Sam Worthington plays the role of the depressed father. In the film, he receives a letter asking him to go to a place called “The Shack” in Oregon. When he does, he meets “Papa” (Octavia Spencer) who accompanies him in his spiritual journey. Josh Gad is the voice of Dennis Quaid’s Reincarnate Dog Seeking Purpose The comedy-drama stars Dennis Quaid as Ethan, the original owner of the dog (Josh Gad) that seeks to know its purpose in life. The film shows how “Bailey” gets reincarnated four different times in four different dog breeds. Bailey’s first life is that of a Golden Retriever’s. He then lives the second time as Ellie, the German Shepherd K-9. In his third life, he is a Pembroke Welsh Corgie named Tino. Finally, he returns as the Golden Retriever named Bailey to the same owner, Ethan. It is in his fourth life that he understands what it means to be man’s best friend. The Famous Nursery Rhyme is now a Movie – “Tatlong Bibe” Regis films turns the popular nursery rhyme into a movie that is about giving and sharing, love, hope and forgiving others not only on Christmas Day. Three rising child stars are featured in the film. They are Marco Masa (Nathaniel), Raikko Mateo (Honesto), and The Voice first grand winner, Lyca Gairanod. Angel Aquino and Mommy D Pacquiao are also part of the movie’s cast of characters.
