Report says Nock-ten is forecast to enter the Philippine area of responsibility tonight or on Christmas Eve and will be called Typhoon “Nina” affecting the Bicol and Samar areas. Metro Manila will have isolated rainshowers from December 22 to December 24. Baguio City will also experience isolated rain showers on the same dates with temperatures ranging from 14 degrees Celsius to 24 degrees Celsius. According to a report made by the Philippine Star, section chief Rene Paciente warned the public to take extra care and prepare for Typhoon Nina.
