“Magandang Buhay” April 6 episode featured recent talents that were discovered on ABS-CBN’s “Tawag Ng Tanghalan.” Fans were again able to see and hear the voices of semi-finalists Sam Mangubat and Froilan Canlas which that captured the hearts of many. Also in the show were TNT Kids semi-finalists Jhon Clyd Talili and Sheena Belarmino.

Sam Mangubat And Froilan Canlas On Magandang Buhay

Froilan Canlas took the stage singing Jason Mraz’s “I Won’t Give Up” giving, of course, a great performance. After Froilan’s performance, Sam Mangubat joined him as the hosts asked them about life after Tawag Ng Tanghalan.

Sam, with his signature bonnet, said he was “in demand” in different gigs. Froilan, on the other hand, said TNT was a bridge for him to have closer ties with family, relatives, and friends all over the world.

Hosts Karla said they’ve learned so much from competitions but was curious about life lessons they learned from their family. Sam went on to say it was knowing and living the christian values and being thankful to God always. For Froilan, it was being humble and keeping his feet on the ground all the time.

Sam’s wants to finish the payment of his families house. He also gave an amount as a pledge for the church building. On top of that, he would like to continue to put his younger sisters to school. Froilan also wants to put up a home for his family and says he will continue to work hard for it. Sam closed the segment and sang “All Or Nothing” by Westlife.

Tawag Ng Tanghalan Kids Semi-Finalists, Jhon Clyd Talili And Sheena Belarmino on Magandang Buhay

Jhon Clyd Talili opened the segment singing “Lipad Ng Pangarap” be Filipina diva, Dessa. Hosts Karla, Melau Cantiveros-Francisco, and Jolina Magdangal-Escueta welcomed him on the show and asked a few questions about family, how he started joining singing competitions and more.

Jhon shared it was his father who encouraged him to sing and join competitions. His father, Adolino Talili,  was also on the show. He shared how happy he was that his son was given the great opportunity of being heard and seen on TV. Adolino revealed how he knew about the auditions through his neighbor’s TV since they didn’t have one at home. He worked hard to get an audition because he believes in his son’s talent. Jhon’s idol, Darenn Espanto, gave him an inspiring message for Jhon and said he wanted to meet him soon.

Sheena Belarmino also sang “Anak” by Freddie Aguilar on the show. Sheena shared the reason why she joined TNT is because she wanted to share her talent with other young people. Sheena’s mom, Susana, joined her on the show. She got her dance moves from her mother and singing voice from her father.

Susana enrolled Sheena in different workshops because they just wanted to develop the interest of their daughter.
