Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz reunite for their romance flick “Dear Future Husband.” The box office tandem, better known as the “Ashlloyd” loveteam, started shooting on Feb. 23. “Dear Future Husband” is to be directed by Theodore Boborol. Theodore also directed the recent MMFF entry, “Vince and Kath and James.”
‘Ashlloyd’ is back
After Sarah and John Lloyd’s three years of break from the big screen together, the two will be reuniting for their new movie this 2017. On Thursday, the two have started shooting for their new movie, “Dear Future Husband.”
In a photo taken by a fan on set seen below, Sarah was photographed in a wedding gown for one of the scenes of the movie. Other photos show John Lloyd in a black tux.
There are still no much details regarding Ashlloyd’s new movie. However, the popstar previously mentioned in a report by ABS-CBN that her character will be more mature that it will present the hardships of starting a family. According to Sarah, she and John Lloyd will be working on roles which are already suitable for their age.
“Dear Future Husband” will be under Star Cinema. The movie is confirmed to be not a continuation of Ashlloyd’s trilogy of romance movies.
Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz were first introduced as a loveteam in their 2008 movie, “A Very Special Love.” Their romance movie continued in their 2009 “You Changed My Life” movie. The last chapter of their romance movies, “It Takes A Man and A Woman”, was released in 2013.
