Sarah Geronimo of ABS-CBN and Alden Richards of GMA are brand ambassadors of the mobile phone Oppo. They are also ambassadors of the Philippine-based micro financial institution Cebuana Lhuillier. Although these two artists come from different ends of the spectrum, they manage to set their differences aside and team up for commercials that make us love them separately and yes, together.
Popstar Princess Sarah has her heart set on boyfriend Matteo Guidicelli. Pambansang Bae Alden, on the other hand, has his eyes on-screen partner Maine Mendoza. That is a fact. But it’s undeniable that these two have a certain on-screen chemistry about them. Here’s a recap of Sarah and Alden together on screen, magazine, and on stage.

Sarah has been endorsing Cebuana Lhuillier since 2012. Alden, on the other hand, joined the family in 2016. They both had separate commercials since. For the first time in March this year, they were featured together on screen for a commercial. Watch the video below.
On stage, fans got to see them perform together for the first time during Cebuana Lhuillier’s 30th anniversary on Sept 1 at the Mall of Asia Arena Pasay City. Then again, on Sept 22, for another concert for Cebuana Lhuillier at the Hoopes Dome in Cebu. The pair sang and danced to the song “Salamat” by The Dawn. They also belted out tunes of the song “Shape Of You” by Ed Sheeran.
Sarah and Alden also were on the cover of the HWM magazine in May, August, and November. On Twitter, they were given the name Ashden. Interestingly enough, user Team Kapamilya on Twitter made a poll asking who they would like as Sarah Geronimo’s love team for a movie soon. The choices were James Reid, Enrique Gil, Daniel Padilla and Alden Richards. Daniel won the poll but taking second place is Alden.
In 2015, Sarah became a brand endorser of OPPO. In 2016, Alden joined the team. Sarah welcomed him to the team during the OPPO F3 Launch in May. In October, the pair were again seen launching the OPPO F5 together. Recently, on Nov 6, OPPO released a 15-second commercial featuring Sarah and Alden. The video has had over 2 million views since posting.
On the comment thread, fans couldn’t help but ask if Sarah and Alden would somehow have a movie together. Some are asking why they chose Sarah instead of Maine Mendoza.
