After 24 years, old time favorite love team Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion reunites for an upcoming movie in 2017. This is the duo’s film since their 1992 team up for the movie “Tayong Dalawa.”

The upcoming movie was revealed by Star Cinema AdProm Manager Mico del Rosario through Instagram on the night of December 15. The photo shows Olivia Lamasan and Strar Cinema head Malou Santos. Mico captioned the photo saying, “Finally. Sharon-Gabby #2017 #Film.”

Fans on Instagram couldn’t help but react to the surprising news. Comments like, “Oh my God Finally!!!,” “At last the long wait is over,” “The long wait is finally over! We’ve been waiting for this announcement,” “Totoo ba’to? I can’t wait na,” Nice one!! Winner yan!!” definitely show that this team up has been a long wait for fans all over. There was even a comment that was directed towards Sharon Cuneta herself saying, “go Go go.. good diet at pasexy na ng to-do miss @reallysharoncuneta .. gym n ng mging hot at sexy me @concepciongabby nice movie for 2017.”

Sharon Cuneta Teases Fans On 2017 Film, ‘Yes, it’s really happening’

On Facebook just hours ago, Sharon Cuneta teased fans on her upcoming film with Gabby Concepcion. She said, “Everyone I am happy to announce the return of Sharon and Gabby on the Big screen!” She even revealed that shooting begins on January 2017. Not only that, she even gave a tentative release date which is on May 2017.

Sharon also went all nostalgic as she posted numerous photos of her and Gabby of movies they worked in before. The Cuneta-Concepcion 2017 film by ABS-CBN Star Cinema is directed by Cathy Garcia Molina.
