Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Sharon Cuneta left for a solo vacation in the United States, news of which she shared last week on Instagram. Although she shares her reason for taking a break, rumors started swirling around about the other reasons why she left. Amidst these, the megastar speaks up about why she needs a break. In a lengthy and very open Facebook post, she shares the circumstances that led to her self-imposed hiatus, as reported in the Inquirer. Sharon Cuneta, Why She left for the US, rumored affair with Sen. Risa Hontiveros and more 1. No Third Party She first addresses the issue about her husband Senator Kiko Pangilinan allegedly having an affair with Senator Risa Hontiveros. This stems from a photo that has been circulating of the two allegedly holding hands. She denies that what she is going through right most definitely does not “a third party.” She also called those who were spreading these rumors as “evil” and had nothing to do better in their lives. 2. Affected By Recent Deaths Of Friend And Family Sharon also mentions that she was grieving from loss among friends and family recently. Aside from that, another aunt, she says is sick, which also makes her sad. As she said in her post, like anyone she has the right to feel sad when things like this happen. 3. Financial Issues Sharon also openly admits that she “owes so much money” which she says has to do with her investments. When it comes to addressing this, she also qualifies that she has to face this all by herself. This may very well be the reason why she feels she needs to work so hard, to make up for it financially. 4. Tired Of Being ‘All Things To All People’ She raises several related points about being physically and emotionally tired. In one instance, she mentions having to play so many roles for so many people, and that most people tend to “take” so much. Her break is much-needed during this time, and she also acknowledges how being somewhere else changes one’s perspective. This, she says, will help her “breathe” and come back a better person. 5. Thankful For Support From Fans, Promises To Be Back Home Soon According to another Inquirer report, the megastar will definitely be back for the finale of The Voice Teens. In her post, she also promises to be back home soon. She also acknowledges and thanks her fans for their “love, support and encouraging words.” Bye for now, ?? Philippines. The girl's been through way too much pain and fatigue in the past few weeks, she has to collect herself and regroup once again. Being away from everything mundane and familiar provides a different, fresh perspective. The only thing I hate about being away from my family is, well, just that. But we all always have to take care of #1 too — meaning, ourselves. Otherwise how can we take care of others? Love and God bless us all! Disappearing muna. Thank God for a huge world apart from what we already know. P.S. In my seat — and airline pajamas. 🙂 A post shared by Sharon (@reallysharoncuneta) on May 2, 2017 at 9:22pm PDT Facebook Comments
