ABS-CBN’s ‘Since I Found You:’ 10 Things We Know So Far

Piolo Pascual, Arci Muñoz, JC de Vera, Empoy Marquez, and Alessandra de Rossi will star in ABS-CBN’s new teleserye ‘Since I Found You.’ The drama is directed by “hugot” movie director Antoinette Jadaone. With its initial announcement in August 2017, not much has been revealed. But, here are 10 things we know so far.

1. Powerhouse cast

“Since I Found You” features the new love team, Piolo Pascual and Arci Muñoz, together with JC de Vera and the “AlEmpoy” (Alesandra de Rossi and Empoy Marquez” tandem. Vivoree Esclito, John Lapus, Carmi Martin, and Joey Marquez will also join them.

2. Since I Found You Synopsis

ABS-CBN’s newest Philippine television series “Since I Found You” tells a story of five different kinds of people. Arci plays the role of a “practicum-er “who is looking for a job opportunity in Piolo’s company in order to help her family. Piolo, on the other hand, is a strict and hot-tempered boss who will eventually catch the attention of Arci.

Their love story, however, will be put to a test as JC de Vera will fall in love with Arci. Further complicating the storyline is Alessandra de Rossi, Piolo’s secretary, who is secretly in love with him. Empoy, Piolo’s driver, is actually in love with Alessandra too. Viewers will have to find out what will happen with these characters as they continue to find the true meaning of love.

3. Romantic Comedy Genre

Filipinos are undeniably fan of romantic comedy dramas so this new drama will surely win not only the attention of the viewers but their hearts as well. JC will probably use his comedic nature that he usually shows in “Banana Sundae.” Arci is also known for her “hugot” lines so all fans will definitely relate to her.

Aside from JC’s comedic nature and Arci and Piolo’s acting skills, Empoy and Alessandra will also be one of the biggest factors who will give life to the series. With the success of their Indie film “Kita-Kita,” there’s no doubt that “Since I Found You” will become successful as well.

Piolo gets a new leading lady for his new drama series and she is no other than Arci Muñoz. Piolo has been team up with other Kapamilya artists for the past years and all of them were successful. But fans will have to wait until the very end of the drama to know if Piolo and Arci’s team up is effective or not.

5.Television debut of Empoy Marquez and Alessandra de Rossi

It’s almost been a year since Empoy and Alessandra’s film “Kita-Kita” hit the big screen and became the highest grossing Indie Film in the country to date. And their fans have always been anticipating their come back.

Now, the unlikely yet perfect love team will grant their fans’ wish with their new television series “Since I Found You” which also marks their first ever teleserye in ABS-CBN.

6.Piolo’s new teleserye after 4 long years

Piolo was last seen on television in the drama series “Hawak Kamay” in 2014. He was supposed to star with a new drama entitled “Written In Our Stars” in 2016 but his leading lady, Toni Gonzaga, got pregnant. And after 4 long years, Piolo is ready to conquer the Philippine television once again with his new series in ABS-CBN.

7.Reunion project of JC de Vera and Arci Muñoz

Arci was last seen in ABS-CBN’s daytime drama, “Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin,” together with Gerald Anderson and Kim Chiu while JC de Vera continues to be part of the show, “Banana Sundae.” The two have already worked together in TV5 teleseryes such as “My Driver Sweet Lover” in 2010 and “Ang Utol Kong Hoodlum” in 2011. After leaving TV5, the two didn’t get the chance to work together for quite some time so “Since I Found You” will serve as their reunion project (in an ABS-CBN’s teleserye) after more or less seven years.

8.Replacing “The Good Son”

“Since I Found You” is set to premiere on ABS-CBN’s Primetime Bida evening block and worldwide on The Filipino Channel on April 16, replacing “The Good Son.”

9.Shows different kinds of love

The drama series shows five people who are searching for the true meaning of love. But as they continue their lives, they will eventually learn how to appreciate different kinds of love. Basically, the drama wants to impart to the viewers that aside from looking for a romantic kind love, they could also give and receive love by appreciating the people around them.

10.“ Since I Found You” official trailer out

The teaser trailer for the upcoming romantic comedy series ‘Since I Found You’ was released on March 19 but the full trailer was out on March 28.
