It would supposedly be a disappointing meeting. However, it seems that the “Stranger Things” stars should be excluded from this predicament. Just recently, Milly Bobby Brown who plays Eleven in the series went out of her way to cheer up a Filipino fan in California named Aaron who got stood up by his friends during his Stranger Things-themed birthday party. There are numerous celebrities out there who are just like them. After all, as cliche as it is, they’re normal human beings just like everybody else. They’re also fans. They know what it feels like to truly and deeply appreciate others. ‘Stranger Things’ Happen Every day According to a tweet by user named Ayen, her brother Aaron invited eight of his classmates to his “Stranger Things” themed birthday party. But, not one of them showed up. Aaron’s sister took to Twitter to discuss the manners of these kids. What she didn’t expect was for her tweet to go viral and for the “Stranger Things” stars themselves to notice it. Millie Bobby Brown, who acts as El in the sci-fi series, was the first to respond. She told Aaron that everyone from “Stranger Things” would’ve loved to come. She then asked for an invite on his next birthday. Gaten Matarazzo, who plays Dustin, pitched in and volunteered to bring the snacks. Cara Buono and Shannon Purser who plays Karen Wheeler and Barb respectively on the show agreed that the kids who didn’t come definitely missed out a lot. The Pinoy kid also received support from fellow Filipino and social media star Bretman Rock. Rock said that he loved all the Filipino food. my brother invited 8 of his classmates for his stranger things themed bday party & none of their punk selves showed up pic.twitter.com/Rw8wC5uNjo — ayen (@ayenalambat) March 18, 2018 What!!!! I’ll bring the chocolate pudding 🎂🎉🎈 — Gaten Matarazzo (@GatenM123) March 20, 2018 Later on, Aaron’s sister updated her tweet. Aaron had fun with his family but if his classmates dare to invite him to any party, his payback would also be not to go. Other celebs who support fans In May 2017, reports about Emma Watson went viral when she agreed to do greet a fan on Facetime thanks to the fan’s mom. The lucky gal was another Filipina named Therese Kiara. Other celebrities who are big on supporting their fans are Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, and Taylor Swift. Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, Gina Rodriguez and more Gaga is known not to be shy about supporting the endeavors of her fans. Erika Heidewald from Smosh said that Lady Gaga yelled “You guys rock!” at her and her improv team while they were warming up on the sidewalk. Taylor Swift, on the other hand, had surprised her most devoted fans in the past by attending their bridal showers or having surprise performances at their weddings. Ariana Grande supports her fans’ talents by encouraging them to perform with her onstage. In one of her tours in Manila, Ariana invited Filipino dancers, AC Bonifacio and Lucky Ancheta, to dance with her onstage. Then, there are the likes of Gina Rodriguez, the one and only star of “Jane The Virgin.” Back in 2016, a fan reached out to her on Twitter. The girl was asking if she could borrow Rodriguez’s Globes gown for her prom. Rodriguez surprised the world when she said yes. Like her, Mila Kunis also surprised the world by saying yes to a date request. Sgt. Scott Moore, a war veteran from Afghanistan asked Kunis to be his date to a Marine Corps Ball in 2011. She not only said yes to humor him but she also reported greatly enjoyed it. Unlike the celebs mentioned a while ago, some stars have a penchant for doing strange yet cool things or having it occur to them. One of these celebrities is Tom Hanks. He was cool enough to agree to pose for a funny photo series with one of his fans. The first photo shows the fan leaning on Tom Hanks’ shoulder, seemingly drunk. Then on the second photo, the fan looks to have fallen forward and landed his face on the pizza in front of him. In this photo, Tom Hanks was pointing at him with the classic “What the hell?” expression. Sebastian Stan, on the other hand, managed to make every fan of his in the world jealous of one drunk girl. According to caitlinf18 who submitted her story to Buzzfeed, she was very drunk when she met the Marvel star. She was starting to fall over when someone caught her. When she looked up, it was none other than Sebastian Stan. He laughed and asked her, “Having a good night?” The girl admittedly replied with the suave line “I am now.” For another superb celebrity encounter, a picture of Queen B and Kelly Rowland singing with some fans in a karaoke a few years back shot the internet with delight. According to the fans in the picture, they were singing some Beyonce songs. Instead of accusing them of butchering her song, Queen B popped out from the room beside them and joined them instead. A post shared by Beyoncé (@beyonce) on Sep 15, 2017 at 1:30pm PDT Lastly, we have Ben Affleck giving the strangest fan encounter. While a fan was walking down the streets of LA, Ben Affleck decided to join that fan and started up a conversation as he casually ate a Subway sandwich. When Affleck asked what the fan was doing, the fan told him that he/she just finished dance class. Ben Affleck then told him/her that he/she needed energy after going physical activity like that. He then gave her/him the remainder of his sandwich and walked away. There are hundreds of other celebrities out there who always show their appreciation of the people around them one way or another. So, don’t give up on meeting your heroes. They just might give you the most memorable meeting of your life. Facebook Comments
