Stranger Things Season 2: More About Barb

According to The Independent and several other reports, the fictional news report covered more about Barb and her disappearance than Season 1 itself. This led many to speculate that more answers about her will come out in Season 2.

Back in August, the show’s creators the Duffer brothers confirmed that there will be “justice for Barb” in the coming season. In an interview with IGN, they discounted the possibility of her return in the show. They however said that “Barb will not be forgotten.”

“Fantastic” glasses And “Mom” jeans

Netflix released the fictional news report on November 1. In a show called “Minute by Minute” featuring Hawkins TV newscaster Brenda Wood, Barb’s disappearance headlined the report. The newscaster discussed the circumstances of Barb’s disappearance – where she was last seen and who she was with. Interestingly, the announcer also noted that Barb was last seen wearing “a oversized pair of absolutely fantastic glasses.”

Like a real news report, they also asked people who knew Barb about who she was. Although no interviews were shown, the newscaster said her friends described her as a friend who is “loyal to a fault.” In another interesting comment, her friends also praised Barb’s fashion sense who can “really rock a pair of ‘Mom’ jeans.”

Eleven And Eggo Waffles

Eleven, the strange girl with telekinetic powers also makes an appearance in the report. The news report showed security camera footage of Eleven stealing several boxes of Eggo Waffles. She was described as a vagrant juvenile whom the police are currently looking for.

“Stranger Things” Season 2 will begin production this month, the Independent report said. Ahead of the 2017 release, the Duffer brothers revealed all eight episode titles in a teaser trailer. “Stranger Things” will be released via Netflix.
