Today, Noel battles new contenders. Will he be battling a fellow senior citizen again today? This 20-year-old is a call center agent and is the bread winner of the family. Aside from working as an agent he also runs an online shop with his girlfriend. This multi-tasker also joins singing competitions and hosts events as well. Angelo sang “This is the Moment” to battle the two other contenders. Hurado Karylle said she really liked Angelo’s voice and called him theatrical. She commended him on how confident he was and how he was able to connect with the audience. Hurado Jaya saw Angelo was really ready for the competition. Angelo was in tears when Jaya said she understood how hard it was to look happy during a performance when deep inside he is really struggling in life, being the only one providing for the family. Milamel has a small store with her husband. Unfortunately, she manages the store by herself since her husband works overseas. Milamel also helps her mother sell vegetables in the market. To impress the judges, she sang “No One” by Alicia Keys. Hurado Rey Valera liked Milamel’s voice but said that she had some flat notes. This 22-year-old singer translates songs to their Visayan version and uploads them on Facebook and YouTube for her fellow Visayan’s to enjoy. Daren sang “Sana Ngayong Pasko” for the judges hoping to prove that her voice is not just for YouTube. Her idol, Hurado Yeng said she imagined hearing her voice in cafe’s or during a smooth road trip because her voice was really cool. Yeng advised her to work on her dynamics but all in all she loved the quality of her voice. Hurado Louie Ocampo said she is not just a translator, but a lyricist. Angelo sang “Lead Me Lord” for the one-on-one battle round while defending champion Nestor Mateo sang “Just Once.” Tatay Nestor gave a wonderful performance but Angelo Ramos proved to be better today garnering an average score of 90.6 percent.
