Fritzie Magpoc from Quezon city was the first contender on stage. Fritzie is a single mom at 20 years old and dreams of putting up her own home for the both of them. She has joined the show three times. Her daughter and her dream are what inspires her to go on and not give up. Fritzie sang Donna Summer’s “Last Dance” hoping to make it this time.

“Wrong song choice for a come back” says hurado Billy Crawford. He said it wasn’t right for Fritzie but said she was able to give justice to the song. Hurado Ogie said Fritzie was capable of more and wished she sang a better song because she had a very deep and powerful voice.

Trike driver Willy Cordovales from Albay was next on stage. Willy is 46 years old and works from 4 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. every day. Apart from being a trike driver, Willy is also a voice coach, wedding singer and also joins singing contests. His one and only son follows his footsteps as he is also now a band vocalist. Willy sang “Narito” by Gary Valenciano.

Last contender was contender from Davao City, Joanna Maurice Ayag. Joanna is 23-year-old 2nd year English Language college student. However, Joanna’s mom asked her to stop school for the meantime to take over their “family band” and work to help support her two younger siblings. At first, she was frustrated but little did she know that this frustration would turn out to be the source of her happiness as she dreams of becoming a famous singer someday.

Hurado Louie and Erik liked Joanna’s voice and song choice and called her voice sweet. Hurado Louie said Joanna had a bright future in the singing industry, she just needed more time before she becomes a “seasoned singer.”
