On Tawag Ng Tanghalan July 26 episode, Aila fights for her eighth win. She is steps away from becoming TNT’s Hall of Famer. Will she get her eighth win today?
Tawag Ng Tanghalan July 26 Performances, daily winner, and champion
First contender, Chrissjhun Delos Poyos. This single cook and singer from Marikina has been dreaming of becoming a famous singer since he was still a kid. For 15 years, he’s been singing in bars and joining amateur singing contests. This is how he’s helped his seven other siblings and family as well. Chrissjhun wants to pursue his dream by singing “One Day Soon” by Tom Jones hoping that one day soon, he would meet the love of his life.
Judge Jed Madela said Chrissjhun had a classic voice. His only concern was, he had too much vibrato which may be the reason why he had just a couple of flat notes. Judge Karylle loved how he connected well with the band.
Second contender, Ricardo Cronico. Ricardo is contender originally from Albay who stays in Pasay City. He works as a band vocalist in Makati and is married to his wife of seven years. They had a son but unfortunately, he passed away three days after he was born due to pneumonia. Now, they are expecting a baby girl and he wants to make sure he gives the best for his family. Ricardo sings “I’d Do Anything For Love” by Meat Loaf.
Head Judge Louie Ocampo said Ricardo sounded and looked like a rocker but he lacked the attitude. Louie said that was the only thing he lacked in his performance.
Third contender, Jehramae Traingia. Jehramae is young singer from Cebu. She’s a baker and a dreamer. Jehramae doesn’t let her age stop her from reaching her dream of becoming the next big thing in the music industry. She took the stage singing “Fight Song” fighting not only for her dream but for a better future for her family.
Judge Jaya said she didn’t see anything wrong with Jehramae’s performance and said the audience was in awe. Judge Mitoy said she had everything and just encouraged her to go on pursuing her dream.
TNT July 26 daily winner, face-off, and champion. Wednesday Daily winner garnering an average score of 92 percent is Jehramae Trangia.
For the face-off, Jehramae sang “Muli” by Rodel Novel while seven-time defending champion Aila Santos sang “Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw” by Regine Velasquez making sure to hit that iconic note towards the end.
The judges were impressed with both performances but they have arrived at a decision. Tawag Ng Tanghalan July 26 champion winning with an average score of 93 percent is Jehramae Trangia.
This ends Aila Santos’ seven streak win. Aila is the fourth semifinalist for Tawag Ng Tanghalan Regular Season 2.
