Will she get her fourth win today? 1st Contender, Trisha sings Barry Manilow hit Firt contender was Trisha Virtudazo from Sampaloc, Manila. This 11-year-old honor student dreams of becoming a singer and hopes to make it in showbiz in the future, if not now. Trisha loves playing badminton and often joins oral reading in school. She sang “This One’s For You” by Barry Manilow. Judge Karylle said Trisha captured her heart through her performance. She said she did a great job and advised her to continue practicing. 2nd Contender, Joycie Anne Sings We Could Have It All Joycie Anne Bautista from Cebu was next on stage. Joycie now sings infront of a lot of people. This 11-year-old usually sings to fishes she and her dad takes care of. They breed angel fish, gold fish, and other tropical fish. Joycie sang “We Could Have It All” by Maureen McGovern. Judge Erik Santos liked how pleasant Joycie looked on stage and how relaxed she was while she was performing. Although she had some flat notes towards the middle of the song, Erik said overall it was a good performance. 3rd Contender, Kiefer sings Puppy Love Twelve-year-old Kiefer Sanchez from Davao was the last contender on stage. Kiefer’s father is a jeepney driver. If he doesn’t have class, he helps his father get more passengers for the day and serves as a dispatcher. Kiefer sang “Puppy Love” by Donny Osmond. He joined Tawag Ng Tanghalan because he wants to see himself on national TV. Judge Karla Estrada said she really liked Kiefer’s performance. Judge Nyoy, on the other hand, said Kiefer already found his niche in singing and said he’s voice could already compete in the TNT regular contest. Tawag Ng Tanghalan Kids April 20 Winner Garnering an average score of 95.4 percent, Thursday winner is Kiefer Sanchez. Kiefer will face 3-time defending champion Reign Basa who is now on to her fourth win. For the battles, Kiefer sang “Hanggang Ngayon” by Kyla while Reign sang “Munting Pangarap” by Aegis.
