Tawag Ng Tanghalan Kids April 3 Performances, Clarreazze Wepingco Sings Skyscraper

First on stage was Clarreazze Wepingco from Cavite. This 11-year-old and her other siblings were named by her father who wanted each name to be unique. Clarreazze started joining singing contests since she was was nine years old. “Skyscraper” by Demi Lovato was the song she chose for today’s contest.

Judge Erik loved Clarreazze’s voice, dynamics, solid high notes and stage presence. He also pointed out her weaknesss which was her low notes. “Clean voice and precise,” says judge Jed Madela. He also her oice flows naturally which was really good. Judge Louie Ocampo added that given a few years, Clarreazze could become a pop singer.

Lift John Demonteverde Sings Angeline Quinto Hit

Lift John Demonteverde from Negros Occidental was next on stage. This 12-year-old boy loves joining track and field competitions but is hindered by his asthma. He channels his passion through singing. Lift seems himself as a singing architect someday. He sang “Wag Mo Aking Iwan Magisa” by Angeline Quinto hoping to impress the judges.

Judge Louie Ocampo called him “mature” and said he was able to execute his song well with much emotion. All in all, he was happy with what he saw and heard.

Bea Neri Jover Sings Sarah Geronimo Hit

Twelve-year-old Bea Neri Jover from Surigao Del Sur was the last contender. Bea is an only child. She helps her mother plant and harvest vegetables in the farm when not is school. Bea’s father is abroad and hasn’t come home in awhile. Her mom says he now has a family of his own and hasn’t communicated with them since 2015. Bea now sings a Sarah Geronimo hit, “Paano Kita Mapaasalamatan” hoping her father would see her and come home.

Judge K Brosas noticed Bea was nervous when she started but became more comfortable towards the middle of the song. Judge Nyoy loved Bea’s voice and said he cannot put into words what he felt when he heard her sing.

Tawag Ng Tanghalan Kids April 3 Daily Winner, Lift John vs Macky Empuerto

Today’s daily winner garnering an average score of 92 percent is Lift John Demonteverde. If Macky Empuerto loses today’s battle, Lift John automatically becomes the next defending champion.

For the battles, Lift John sang Basil Valdez’s “Kung Ako’y Iiwan Mo” while 4-time defending champion Macky Empuerto sang “May Bukas Pa.”

The winner of today’s battle with an average score of 96.6 percent is Macky Empuerto. Macky is now the third semi-finalist of Tawag Ng Tanghalan Kids.
