On Saturday’s episode, Bench Ivan won over three other contenders garnering an average score of 92.6 percent singing “I Who Have Nothing ” by Tom Jones. Defending champion Bench Ivan is an 11-year-old from Caloocan City. He helps his father prepare and sell “puto’t kutsinta” before he goes to school. He joined “Tawag Ng Tanghalan” because he dreams of becoming a famous singer someday. If he wins, he would like to give what he would earn to his parents to help in the education of his three other siblings. Tawag Ng Tanghalan March 20 Performances, Jemiah Radha sings Tomorrow First on stage was Jemia Radha Chatterjee from Plaridel, Bulacan. This 9-year-old is the daughter of a Filipina and an Indian national. At a very young age, she wins singing contests. Jemia sang “Tomorrow” from the theater hit, “Annie.” She dedicates her performance to her father, who has no idea she’s joining the show. Judge Kyla really enjoyed her performance and commended her on her stage presence. She saw how much Radha enjoyed singing on stage and said she did a great job despite the fact the she doesn’t have any vocal training. Kevin Rosano Sings Pilita Corales hit Twelve-year-old Kevin Rosano from Negros Oriental was next on stage. Kevin’s passion is to sing but he might also be the next big news anchor. This talented young star sang “Paano” by Pilita Corales. Judge Louie Ocampo gave Kevin a thumbs up for his performance. He liked Kevin’s stage presence, his voice and how he executed the song in terms of timing. Justine Tan sings Defying Gravity Justine Tan is and 11-year-old singer from Davao City. Aside from singing, Justine also loves drawing. He loves sharing his talent to others and loves helping other kids and teaches them what he learns in school. Justine sang “Defying Gravity” hoping to impress the judges. Judge Jaya loved his performance and liked the fact that he chose a theatrical song. She sees him doing theater plays in the future and think it might be Justine’s niche.
