Joshua Dimaandal sings Journey hit

Next on stage was Joshua Dimaandal from Quezon. Twelve-year-old Joshua is known to be very shy. With the help of his mother, he was able to overcome some of his fears. Joshua was able to sing his heart out, smiling while he was at it. Judge Yeng could be seen saying the words, “Let go” and when Joshua finally hit those high sustained notes, judge Ogie gave a wide smile. Ogie called him a balladeer and taught Joshua a thing or two on how to give a bit more power to his voice.

Davao Occidental contender Nina Faith Delos Reyes was the last on stage. Nina is 12 years old. At a young age, she already knows how to play different musical instruments like the piano, guitar, xylophone, and the drums, thanks to her father. Nina’s family make ends meet by making candy and sells it at different schools. They consider this a family bonding. For today, Nina sang “Alone” by Bad Animals

Judge K Brosas and Billy said she started off a bit weak but was able to redeem herself towards the middle of her performance. Overall, it was a great performance.
