Tawag Ng Tanghalan March 30 Performances, Alex Noleal Sings Titanium
First on stage was Alex Noleal from Albay. This 11-year-old young one dreams of becoming a singing engineer someday. Alex sets his foundation as one of the top 5 of his class. In the future, Alex wants to put up a house for his family. They live with his grandfather since their home was wrecked in a storm. If he wins, he would like to use what he would earn for what he needs in school. Alex sang “Titanium” for today’s performance.
Judge Billy Crawford said he liked Alex’s performance and just needed to work on connecting with the audience. Judge Yeng says she liked Alex’s voice quality and said he was a natural born singer.
Mark Glein Olarte Sings Whitney Houston hit
Twelve-year-old Mark Glein Olarte from Bohol was next on stage. Mark is the eldest in the family. He has five other siblings. Mark dreams of becoming a famous singer. He sang “I Will Always Love You” by Whitney Houston.
Head judge Ogie Alcasid said Mark had the voice control and dynamics even at a young age. Practice, practice, practice says Ogie.
Precious Camille Mabitag Sings Angeline Quinto
Contender from Davao, 8-year-old Precious Camille Mabitag was the last contender of the day. Precious puts a balance to school, housework and singing. Her parents support her in her dream of becoming a famous singer someday. Precious sang “Saan Darating Ang Umaga” hoping to impress the judges.
“Great voice” says judge Erik. He saw how connected Precious was with the audience and said she did a great job in her performance. Judge Jolina noticed Precious has a natural husky voice which she says she can use to her advantage.
Tawag Ng Tanghalan Kids March 30 Winner
Defending champion Macky Empuerto takes the stage and tries to defend his title singing “A Thousand Years.”
Today’s winner garnering an average score of 95.8 percent is– Macky Empuerto. This is Macky’s second win on the show.
