Tawag Ng Tanghalan Kids May 18 Performances, daily winner, and champion

First contender, Maria Krishellei Robles. Krishellei is 12-year-old kiddie contender from Malabon. Krishellei’s mom is a public school teacher so she spends more time with her dad at home. Her dad taught her how to cook and is also her voice coach. Kirshellei’s dad was also part of a band before so he invests most of his time teaching his daughter. “It’s Oh So Quiet” was Krishellei’s song for today.

The judges looked like they enjoyed Krishellei’s performance as they were seen swaying to the jazzy beat of her song. Judge Jaya called Krishellei’s performance excellent. She didn’t give any comment but advised her to get ready because she will go far with her talent. She also advised her to pursue theater. Judge Billy, on the other hand, called her performance perfect.

Second contender, Tristan James MCinis. Kiddie contender from Cavite, Tj,  was next on stage. Tj’s dad is abroad so he stays with his mom. Tj’s mom saw that he had the talent in singing when he was younger. Since then, she encouraged him more even if she didn’t have the talent herself. Tj takes the stage singing “You Are My Song” and dedicates her performance to his mom.

Head Judge Ogie Alcasid noticed Tj’s voice was in the process of changing because of his age which affected his performance. He is crossing the border of being an adolescent to becoming a teen. Nevertheless, he did a good job and said he had the heart.

Third contender, Ashley Cullo. Ashely from Cebu is nine-year-old kiddie contender who’s a jack of all trades. She can sing, dance, and can still top her class despite joining extracurricular activities. Ashley can play piano too. This kiddie contender sang “Fight Song” hoping to impress the judges.

Judge Kayla loved Ashley’s performance and really saw that she was a very good dancer. She also loved her soft whispery voice with character. Judge K Brosas said she loved Ashley’s energy and confidence on stage.
