Tawag Ng Tanghalan Kids May 24 performances, daily winner, and champion

First contender, Eleana Jaye Marie Gabunada. Kiddie contender from Paranaque City, Eleana, has been joining singing contests since she was five years old. Now that she’s eight, she continues to pursue her dream by singing “Here In My Heart.” Eleana has been doing taekwondo during her free time to boost her confidence more.

Judge Karylle saw Eleana’s strength during her performance and loved her voice and song choice. Judge Erik said her performance was flawless and added diction and breathing technique was really good.

Second contender, Lucas Ervin Guille. Eleven-year-old kiddie contender from Bohol, Lucas, loves playing volleyball but spends most of his time singing. His mom makes time for Lucas in practicing and vocalizing while Lucas would also make time in helping his mom in her ukay ukay business. Lucas’ dad, a marketing officer, also supports him in his dream. “Salamat” by Yeng Constantino was Lucas’ song for today.

Judge Yeng Constantino loved Lucas’ voice and tone. She advised him to improve more on his stage presence and not to be too conscious on stage. All in all, she

Third contender, Mariel Ticmon. Mariel is 12-year-old kiddie contender from Zamboanga Del Sur who loves her family so much. She helps her mom sell banana cue for their everyday needs. Mariel does great both at home and in school. Mariel sang “Your Love” hoping to win the judges’ heart.

Judge Jaya said Mariel came prepared, ready to entertain and impress the judges. She was able to carry each note well and noted how she had the right attitude and how this would bring her closer to her dreams. Judge Jed Madela said he loved the subtlety of Mariel’s voice and also loved her personality and advised her to keep on reaching her dreams.

TNT Kids May 24 daily winner, face-off, and champion. Wednesday winner is Eleana Jaye Marie Gabunada. Eleana will face two-time defending champion John Jamiel Convicto who is fighting for his third win.

For the faceoff, Eleana sang “Himala” while John Jamiel sang “When I Was Your Man.” The judges were impressed with both performances. They found themselves torn between two kiddie contender who equally gave great performances.

With much thought, the judges have decided. Today’s champion garnering an average score of 96 percent is– John Jamiel Convicto. This is John’s third win on the show. Two more and he makes it to the semi-finals.
