POPCORN TIME LIVE BLOG: On Tawag Ng Tanghalan Kids May 3o episode, four kiddie resbakers will try to get a spot on TNT’s Ultimate Resbak Day on Saturday, June 3. Yesterday, lucky kiddie contender from Metro Manila, John Carlo Tan, earned his spot beating three other contenders. Click here to read a recap of yesterday’s episode.

Tawag Ng Tanghalan Kids May 30 Performances and Tuesday Kiddie winner

First contender, John Alfred Besa. Twelve-year-old kiddie contender from Pasig City joined TNT Kids on Mother’s Day. He became daily winner but wasn’t able to beat the defending chmapion then. He comes back singing “Wag Ka Ng Umiyak” by Gary Valenciano.

Judge Erik Santos said he was touched and moved by John’s performance. He liked how he used alternate notes in his song and advised him to continue to practice to get better and better.

Seconder contender, Trixie Mae San Roque. Trixie is kiddie resbaker from San Roque, Bulacan. She joined TNT on May 15 and is back hoping to make it this time. She sang Celine Dion’s hit, “To Love You More.”

Judge Louie Ocampo said Trixie had a very powerful voice, spot on with pitch but just had an issue with the tempo of the song. He was concerned with how long Trixie had to hold her notes but was pleased at how well she made it.

Third contender, Joemar Lazarraga. Kiddie contender from Cebu is 9-year-old Joemar. He joined TNT but didn’t beat defending chmapion then. He returns singing “Kumusta Ka” by Rey Valera.

Fourth contender, Mydie Mabascog. Mydie is kiddie resbaker from Agusan del Sur. She joined TNT in March but didn’t bring home the title. She takes the stage singing “Hanggang Sa Kailanman” hoping to win the judges’ heart.

TNT Kids May 30, Tuesday resbaker. The judges have decided. Today’s winner is Trixie May San Roque garnering an average score of 94.4 percent.

Trixie will be back on the TNT stage for the Ultimate Resbak Day on June 3.
