POPCORN TIME LIVE BLOG: On Tawag Ng Tanghalan Kids May 4 episode, defending champion John Ramirez will fight for his third win. Tawag Ng Tanghalan Kids May 4 Performances

First contender, Sidro Quilicol. Sidro Quilicol is kiddie contender from Paranaque City. This 11-year-old lives with his grandparents and knows at a young age that life is difficult. Sidro’s grandmother pushes the cart and helps out by selling vegetables. Sidro touched not only his grandparents with his emotional rendition of “Kung Mawawala Ka” by Ogie Alcasid, but he also touched the hearts of the audience.

Judge Nyoy was very impressed with Sidro’s performance and said he had a different approach in singing. He felt that Sidro was creating art through his movements and his voice as well. Judge Karylle found him cute and adorable and said the audience loved him and his personality.

Second contender, Mareah Arianna Petilla. Mareah is just eight years old but she already has the fighting spirit of a “waray.” Mereah does well in school and joins spelling, math, science, and of course singing contests. If she wins, she would like to buy educational toys for her and her sister. Mareah sang a “Moonriver” for today’s performance.

Head judge Ogie Alcasid liked how Mareah retained the vibe of a classic song and how she interpreted the song. He advised her to continue on with singing.

Third contender, Ryan Dave Baguio. Twelve-year-old Ryan Dave Baguio from Bukidnon was the last contender. Ryan is the son of a construction worker and an alternative massage therapist or “manghihilot.” His family serves as caretaker of the house they live in. He loves singing and enjoys dancing. For today’s performance, Ryan sang “Mula Sa Puso.”

Judge K Brosas called Ryan talented and said she loved the quality of his voice. She also loved how much he was able to give emotion to the song. Judge Erik Santos, on the other hand, said he was captivated from the get go.

TNT Kids May 4 battle and winner. Sidro, Mareah, and Ryan gave it their all but there can only be one daily winner. Today’s daily winner getting an average score of 92 percent is Sidro Quilicol. For the face-off, Sidro sang “This Is The Moment” while defending champion John Ramirez sang “Maghintay Ka Lamang.”

Two very good contenders fight for the title but only one coud get the title. Today’s winner getting an average score of 92.6 percent is new defending champion Sidro Quilicol.
